Micro Fabrication

AMP and its partners bring the latest technologies in microfabrication such as Electric Discharge Machining, Class-7 cleanroom manufacturing, and assembly. Our capabilities include precision CNC, milling, drilling, and threading with end mills as fine as 0.1mm, which is finer than the average human hair thickness of 0.7mm. We provide extensive expertise in microfabrication and a wealth of experience in high-speed rotary machining with small scale tooling. Our manufacturing fulfills the precision needs of industries with versatile microfabricated components such as micromotors, bearings, medical devices and implants, precision equipment, robotics, communication, aerospace, semiconductors, etc. 

Thin Wall

In the field of thin wall processing, AMP possesses the capability to fabricate ultra-thin walls with a thickness of only 0.035mm. This high-precision thin-wall processing is subject to deformation caused by residual stress in the material and the heat generated during the process. Therefore, specialized manufacturing expertise is essential. Leveraging the extensive experience it has accumulated, AMP has attained remarkably high precision and geometric tolerances, even in the production of precision components with thin walls that are challenging to manufacture. 

Laser Micromachining

With the introduction of the femtosecond laser, AMP now has the capability to cut exceptionally fine features as small as 12 µm. The ultra-short pulse duration and frequency of the femtosecond laser enable cutting with minimal thermal impact, ensuring clean and precise edges that far surpass those achieved with standard laser cutting techniques. 

Micromolding

AMP and its partners strive to achieve the highest level of precision and repeatability for micromolded components. With precision equipment and processes, we can produce molded parts as small as 600 µm in diameter with micron-level tolerances. These extremely small components can be produced and packaged in a Class-7 cleanroom environment for contaminant-sensitive applications. 

Stamping

AMP and its partners maintain the same accuracy and precision when producing stamped components. Flat sheets of raw materials as thin as 25.4 µm are transformed into finished components with unparalleled accuracy, whether they are flat or contain compound curvature. This allows us to rapidly produce consistent components for use in exacting applications such as aerospace and medical. 

Assembly

From prototype systems to commercial production, AMP and its partners can assist with your precision assembly needs. Utilizing precision tools, assembly for regulated industries involving laser welding, brazing, overmolding, or combinations of operations can be produced to exacting tolerances.
